Dreaming With Duns

Our dreams are the places where our unfettered imagination and creativity get to run wild. As young people, we know the power of our dreams and allow ourselves to be swept away by them as they guide us through learning about the world and learning about ourselves in relation to the world around us. As we age, our ability to dream unapologetically, whether it be of a better world, healthier relationships, or a different reality for ourselves, becomes more difficult as we grapple with the disappointment that comes with being human. Our wide open scope of possibility becomes myopic and we begin to limit the things that we believe are possible.

Duns is a dreamer. Unapologetically hopeful, he is crystal clear about the role joy and grief have in shaping our ability to create the conditions for our lives that make us feel most liberated. His approach to theater, conversations, and facilitation are unorthodox, and that is on purpose; he believes that what we need most in this time is a rootedness in the past and a willingness to be innovative to create the futures that we want.
