AniMalayaWorks

AniMalayaworks is a collaboration between Filipino artist mother, Ani Gavino and Youth Poet Laureate daughter, Malaya Ulan. Together they actively create anti-colonial performance art as a portal to connecting to ancestral land, spirit, and community. Through collaboration and a merging of dance, poetry, music and film, they work to empower the nuanced Filipino-born immigrant story and the Filipino-American first generation young voice.
