The Taming!

Join us in Clark Park this summer for The Taming! a comedy in two very different acts. Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew is going head to head with John Fletcher’s revenge play, The Tamer Tamed!



Kate and Petruchio battle it out in Act 1, where Petruchio attempts to tame Kate’s shrew-ish ways. Then in Act 2, we jump forward in time to Bianca and Maria, the woman old Petruchio has set his sights on, conspiring to bring him down.



We couldn’t stage The Taming of the Shrew without talking back to it! Fletcher’s play, written 15 years after Shrew, is an Elizabethan clap back and we're putting our West Philly spin on it!
