Planet of the Bored Apes Show Art

A man lost his NFT. How does he begin to find it?

Planet of the Bored Apes features a night of stories and songs inspired by the world of NFTs, Crypto, Metaverses, Chatbots, and other digital wonders that make us ask: Is any of this real? Wait, what IS real actually? If a tree falls in a digital wood, does it make a sound? And other gnawing questions.

This developmental showing features new work from the collective minds of Die-Cast. But it is also written by AI Chatbots. In front of you. Follow an artist into the Metaverse as they attempt to buy back their stolen work. Hear the last words of an NFT who discovers that she is a pirated copy and is about to be burned. Grab a German beer from the bar and help us figure out what is “authentic.” No prior crypto experience required.
