As part of Philadelphia Theatre Week, theatre artists from on and off the stage are invited to partake in improvisational body-based practices. Rooted in Leah Stein Dance Company’s history of Deep Listening and the voice-movement continuum, facilitator Leah Stein will tailor the experience for those involved in theatre. In the two-hour workshop, participants will dive deep into solo, duet and group scores, move in and out of witnessing and performing, and play with language. Seasoned performers as well as those who are new to voice/movement practice are welcome - no prior dance experience required.
