Whether you have an on-again, off-again relationship or are never, ever getting back together, breakups are painful, often liberating, and sometimes even funny. Bring your situationship, bestie, ex, or just yourself as ExFiles, Philly’s ORIGINAL Anti-Valentine’s Day StorySlam, returns on February 14th at 7:30pm. Keep it real by taking the stage to share your true story about that ex who broke your heart, the one who got away, or the one you ran far, far away from. Get ready to laugh and cry as Philly gets real–live on stage!
Join First Person Arts’ and our host for the evening comedian Lamarr Todd for Philly’s original (and best!) storytelling competition. Our scorekeeper, local celebrity guest judges, and an audience judge will score the stories and give our storytellers helpful hints on how to improve their tales. The winner takes home $100 and bragging rights until next year. Come to SideQuest Theater on 2/14 for a fun-filled night with stories told by you–our audience–live on stage. The show starts at 7:30pm.
