IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION
As we have done for the last several years, in an effort to support the health and safety of all members of our community at our largest in-person event of the season, Theatre Philadelphia is requiring proof of negative COVID-19 tests from attendees within 24 hours of the Barrymore Ceremony day on Monday, October 20, 2025.
In order to keep this event and our community as safe as possible, ALL attendees must take an antigen test (also known as a rapid/at-home test) within 24 hours of the day of the event, and submit photographic proof of a negative test result. This policy applies to all attendees regardless of vaccination status. Masks are encouraged but optional, and Theatre Philadelphia is happy to provide masks at the entrance!
Proof of a negative test result should be submitted between Sunday, October 19th and Monday, October 20th before your arrival at the ceremony.
Please use this form to submit your test result: https://forms.gle/Ltb9H1nSzAwECvNo9
If you have any technical issues with submitting a picture of your test results using the form, you can email the photo to [email protected].
In the event that you are unable to procure a test or run into a glitch submitting your result ahead of time, a limited number of rapid tests and face masks will be available at the box office. If you need to test on-site, please arrive early with at least 15-20 minutes to test and wait for the results before the ceremony begins.
A positive test result or failure to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test will result in not being admitted to the event. We look forward to celebrating our entire community with you, so please add the retrieval and execution of the test to your calendar the weekend before the ceremony - we don’t want to miss you! We are happy to provide this resource for finding COVID-19 tests in the Philadelphia area, including free pick-up locations: https://www.phila.gov/services/mental-physical-health/find-a-covid-19-t…
If you are no longer interested in attending in-person, or if you test positive for COVID-19 beforehand, we will also have Pay-What-You-Can tickets available for a digital livestream of the ceremony! You can email [email protected] to exchange your ticket for access to the livestream.
If you are feeling ill or symptomatic but test negative, please use your best judgment to avoid spreading any type of illness to community members, especially as we approach several holidays where your fellow artists will be seeing their families.
Thank you again for your consideration of every member of our community, and can’t wait to see you at the Barrymores!
