Theatre Philadelphia Open Call for 2024 Barrymore Award Trophy Design

Theatre Philadelphia is looking for local Philly BIPOC artists to submit a 2D digital design for this year’s Barrymore Award trophy, celebrating the Philadelphia theatre community's 23-24 season.

Named in honor of the famed Philadelphia-based first family of theatre, the Barrymore Awards have served as Philadelphia's professional theatre awards program since 1994. The Barrymore Awards are a nationally recognized symbol of professional theatre in our region, raising the bar for the work produced by local theatres and individual artists while increasing public awareness of the richness and diversity of our city's thriving theatre community. 

 With a focus on BIPOC artists, Theatre Philadelphia is looking for a digital design encompassing the mission of Theatre Philadelphia and the Barrymore Awards. The selected design will be announced in the second week of October 2024, and the artist will be notified in the first week of October 2024. 
 

Stipend: $150 + 2 Free Tickets to the 2024 Barrymore Awards 

Deadline for Submissions: September 30 by 5 pm EST

Desired Color Scheme: Gold, Black, Green
