NON-UNION: Casting West Chester's 2nd Annual Juneteenth Play, a reenactment of the History surrounding the events of Juneteenth 1865. The script by Rev. Dr. Richelle Gunther tells the History of Juneteenth, and Decoration Day. This powerful new telling of this fundamental part of American History will take place in front of the Old Courthouse steps in West Chester. We are casting a diverse cast. This is a Non-Union production but will include a travel stipend for those out of the area. Directed by Stephen Lyons

5 SCHOOL CHILDREN (Preferably with Family) both African American and White / Ages 8-16)
TOWNSPERSON 3 (African American): Speaking role

SOLDIERS: Both African American and White to portray Union Soldiers and Confederate
TOWNSPEOPLE: Both African American and White to portray non-speaking Townspeople of Galveston, TX
