Walnut Street Theatre is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 Apprentice Program, offering full-season, hands-on training opportunities for early-career theatre professionals.

For more than 35 years, the Walnut’s Apprentice Program has provided emerging artists and administrators with immersive, professional experience in a fast-paced producing theatre environment. Apprentices are a vital part of our organization and contribute directly to the creation of our productions and daily operations.

Program Details

• Full-time commitment
• $500 weekly scholarship stipend
• Free tuition to Theatre School classes
• No housing provided
• Scholarship terms vary:
  • May begin as early as April 2026
  • Conclude by June 2027
