Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional theater experience
- Proven experience as a Voice Teacher or Acting Coach.
- Strong knowledge of vocal anatomy, music theory, and repertoire across various genres.
- In-depth knowledge of acting theory, methodologies, and techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of plays, musicals, and film.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels.

Position: Voice Teacher and Acting Coach
Location: Online, Wilmington, Delaware, and Kennett Square, PA
Hours: Part-time (6-12 hours weekly), Flexible Scheduling
Salary: $40-60 hourly, depending on position and experience level
Responsibilities for Part-Time Teacher:
- Provide individualized vocal/acting instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Teach proper vocal technique, breath control, posture, and performance skills.
- Teach fundamental acting techniques, including improvisation, scene study, character development, voice, and movement.
- Select and prepare repertoire suitable for auditions, performances, and competitions.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that inspires students to excel.
Position: Substitute Voice and Acting Coach
Location: Wilmington, DE, and Kennett Square, PA, Online
Hours: Flexible Scheduling as needed
Salary: $40-60 hourly, depending on position and experience level
Responsibilities for Substitute Teacher:
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students during lessons, rehearsals, and performances, helping them to address technical challenges, improve vocal quality, and enhance overall musicality.
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring that instructional objectives are met and students receive consistent and cohesive instruction.
- Adjust proper vocal technique, breath control, posture, and performance skills following notes from instructor.
- Coach acting techniques, including improvisation, scene study, character development, voice, and movement.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that inspires students to excel.
