CHARACTERS (some roles have already been cast)
Michael Jordan – Not THE Michael Jordan. African-American, 20s or early 30s. A never-was journeyman basketball player. Been bounced around the world playing for small market/small country teams and wants no more of it. He’s washed up on his last beach.
Phil Jackson – Recently abdicated Emperor of Lilliput and coach of his country's basketball team. Think Wallace Shawn before you think of the actual Phil Jackson. 40’s-50’s.
Lilli – Daughter of Phil and Mrs. Horton, and the team’s starting shooting guard. 20-something.
Pippin – Assistant coach to Phil. Former royal advisor. A psychopath.
Bird -- Player on the team, as well as a full-time battler of giant rats. Magic’s girlfriend. 20’s-30’s.
Magic -- Also a player and battler of giant rats. Bird's boyfriend. 20’s-30’s.
