TECHNICAL DIRECTOR/THEATER MANAGER
The Opportunity
The Performing Arts Department at The Episcopal Academy seeks a full-time Theater Director & Technical Theater Manager to oversee and support theater productions and events across the entire school. This position plays a vital role in the creative and technical execution of performances and events, ensuring excellence in design, safety, and student engagement from Lower through Upper School.
This is a full-time, 10-month position that begins in August 2025.

What You’ll Do
You will take the lead on the technical and production elements of Episcopal’s annual theater productions and manage all aspects of the school’s two performance spaces. You’ll supervise and mentor student technicians, teach middle school theater electives in the 2025–2026 school year, and support a wide range of school events. Looking ahead, whether in full courses or trimester based electives, teaching is preferred, though it is not required.
