HIRING: TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
The Ritz Theatre Company is a well-established theatre company that has been successfully engaging Delaware Valley audiences with professional, diverse entertainment for 40 years. We are seeking a skilled, motivated individual to join our team as Technical Director. The Technical Director will report to the Production Manager and Producing Artistic Director, while working to execute all the technical needs for our yearly programming. The ideal candidate will have carpentry experience and work well within a team setting.
This is a fulltime position. Annual salary range is approximately $40,000-$45,000. Negotiable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Execute the build of all sets for theatre programming.
- Lead overhire staff, when applicable.
- Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of our offsite warehouse space.
- Assist in maintaining technical equipment.
- Lead the execution of all set load-ins and strikes.
- Assist in general upkeep of the theatre, performance space, and storage areas.
- Ability to travel between our theatre in Haddon Township, NJ and our warehouse in Pennsauken, NJ
