SEEKING TWO ACTORS FOR A SEPTEMBER AND A NOVEMBER PRODUCTION

A GOOD FARMER BY SHARYN ROTHSTEIN 

We are seeking a Latina actress for the part of Carla Gutierrez, who is 30 in Act One and 23 in Act Two. She is an undocumented immigrant from Mexico who is a farmer and five months pregnant in Act Two. This play has many important themes, which we seek to handle carefully.

Seeking a male actor for Fidel, mid-to-late twenties, Fidel has a green card and is from Kazakhstan, and has been in the United States trying to become a United States citizen for nearly 10 years. There are several phrases he speaks in Turkic/Russian. He has a slight accent. (Note: we work with a highly qualified dialect coach who will be working with you, if needed.)
