Production Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager

Revival Productions is seeking an organized and detail oriented Production Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager for our upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (2013 Broadway Version). Please note, we are only seeking non-union at this time!

Job Description

Production Stage Manager

• Coordinate rehearsal and production schedules
• Communicate between cast, crew, and creative team
• Run rehearsals and track blocking, cues, and notes
• Create and maintain the prompt book
• Lead technical and dress rehearsals
• Call cues during performances (lights, sound, scene changes)
• Supervise backstage operations and crew
• Ensure performer safety and enforce rules (e.g., union guidelines)
• Write and distribute daily rehearsal/performance reports
• Maintain the show’s artistic integrity after opening

Assistant Stage Manager

• Assist with running rehearsals and tracking blocking
• Set up and maintain rehearsal spaces and props
• Help create and update paperwork (props tracking, run sheets, etc.)
• Coordinate backstage during performances
• Assist with scene changes and prop handoffs
• Maintain clear communication with the stage manager and crew
• Monitor performer safety and quick changes
• Help manage backstage traffic and organization
• Support technical rehearsals and cue tracking
• Fill in for stage management roles as needed

Auditions:

Sunday August 24, 2025, 3:00pm-8:00pm (Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center)

Thursday August 28, 2025, 5:30pm-9:30pm (Chester County School of the Arts)

Callbacks:

Monday September 8, 2025, 6:00pm-10:00pm (Chester County School of the Arts)

Wednesday September 10, 2025, 6:00pm-10:00pm (Chester County School of the Arts)

Rehearsals:

Rehearsals will begin September 22, 2025 and will take place on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings, Sunday Afternoons, and occasional Saturday Mornings (as needed). Rehearsals will take place at both our Rehearsal Space (Chester County School of the Arts) and our Performance Venue (Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center). 

Tech Week: 

Tech Week is MANDATORY and will take place on November 29, 2025 - December 4, 2025 at Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center. 

Performances: 

Performances are MANDATORY and will take place at Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center. Please note, Saturday evening performances could be added pending ticket demand.
