Part time paid seasonal work.
Storytellers are stationed outdoors at one of our storytelling benches around Valley Forge National Historical Park. Storytellers immerse the guests in a wide variety of true stories about the fascinating history that gave rise to our nation.

· Acting skills – improvisation and ability to work from a script.
· Ability to act as an ambassador for Valley Forge while enhancing the visitor experience.
· Adaptability to various performing environments, from one-on-one encounters to large groups.
· An interest in history. (General knowledge and understanding of 18th century Philadelphia History and the American Revolution a plus.)
Rehearsals and training begin April 2025. The main season runs from the end of May until September and operates Wednesday through Sunday. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Hiring for full schedule and just weekends.
Candidates will be invited to auditions, held on March 29th in Valley Forge National Historical Park, based on how well their experience and skills listed on their resume match the needs of our programs. For more information visit Once Upon A Nation - Historic Philadelphia, Inc.
