Seeking Music Instructor / Director for theatre camp, 18 years or older to Music Direct Finding Nemo Kids and Frozen Kids. Availability for the full summer is not required. Looking for a responsible and reliable candidate to maintain safety and care for campers while teaching music. The Music Director should be able to Independently lead music classes and warm ups. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills and can lead a room of up to 30 students ages 6-15. Basic Piano skills required. The Music Director will either play for the performance or oversee tracks including any editing that needs to be done. The Music Director will be responsible for creating audition material and any materials that could aid at home practice.
Media Theatre Camp is broken down into two week sessions. The first two sessions will consist of Music Directing a 30 minute musical. The Final two sessions will consist of teaching 3 songs based on the camp theme in a classroom setting. Monday thru Friday, 9:45 am - 4:30 pm. June 29th through Aug 7th and Aug 24th - 28th. Camp showcases the final Friday of each session from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM.
