Directed by Anthony Cosgrove and Alex Nieves
Dramaturgy by Emilia Hoard
September 2026
Synopsis: A political piece set in the plot's past (2020s) and present (2040s) It follows the story of Cesar, who tells Valentina (his daughter) the story of how his relationship with Alba (Valentina's mother) shapes the political future of Puerto Rico. It explores what would happen if our people fought for Independence and how the political divide affects unity among individuals. It asks us: Is power worth losing your loved ones, your country, your culture, and your humanity? And is love and care for these powerful enough to push an oppressive government affecting us?
