Hidden seeks Actors for Traveling Musical

Hidden is a musical based on the true story of Ruth Kapp Hartz, who was a "hidden child" as a young Jewish girl in southern France during World War II. More information on the story and performance history can be found at hiddenthemusical.com.

ROLES

ALL are Non-Union

• Track “A”- soprano, playing Renée (Ruth as a young girl, 6-9 y/o)
• Track “E”- baritone, playing Papa (Ruth’s father, 30s) and Jean-Claude (hidden Jewish child, 5-8 y/o) 
• Track “F”- baritone or tenor, playing Uncle Heinrich (Papa’s brother, 40s), Nazi #2, Monsieur Fedou (Resistance member, 50s) and Police Officer #2 

All ages (18 and older), genders and ethnicities are encouraged to apply to all roles. 

SCHEDULE

The first scheduled performance is May 29th, 2025 at Gratz College, and the rest of the performance dates are TBD, but will likely begin around August/September 2025. Rehearsals to begin in March 2025. Some performances are expected to be during the school day so weekday, daytime availability is strongly preferred.

Please submit a 30-60 second video of the song of your choice- musical theatre preferred- and a modern monologue up to 60 seconds long.
