Bristol Riverside Theatre is a mid-sized regional theatre whose mission is to engage audiences and artists alike with exceptional performances, inspired writing, and superior productions that motivate us to think harder, to feel more deeply, to laugh more joyfully, and to reflect on ourselves and the world in which we live.
Located in the historic district of Bristol Borough, the theatre has a full-time staff of 13 employees. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
DESCRIPTION
We seek a Head of Props for our upcoming 2025-2026 Season. Head of Props is in charge of, designing, building, sourcing, and procuring all rehearsal and production props and set dressings. This includes ensuring all items are functional, safe, clean, and align with the artistic vision of the production team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of Props performs the following duties:
Track all materials and labor expenses to ensure adherence with show budgets.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The desired experience and qualifications for this position include:
Proficiency with power tools (including saws), and hands-on prop construction skills.
