Job Summary: 

The Actor will play a pivotal role in creating an immersive and unforgettable experience for our guests during Halloween-themed events. As the face of our attraction, the Lead Actor will be responsible for captivating audiences, delivering thrilling performances, and ensuring the overall success of our Halloween Nights. This role will direct and support an environment of diversity and inclusion where staff of varying backgrounds can thrive, and assist other employees in the performance of their job duties as described below: 

  

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. Character Performance  
  • Portray assigned characters with authenticity, creativity, and enthusiasm. 
  • Engage with guests in interactive and immersive experiences, bringing stories to life through compelling performances. 
  • Adapt performances to suit different audience demographics and maintain character consistency throughout each event. 
  • Execute scare tactics and techniques to create suspense and deliver memorable frights to guests. 
  • Ensure the safety of guests and fellow actors  

 

  1. Team Leadership 
  • Provide support to fellow actors to ensure cohesive and effective performances. 
  • Attend rehearsals and training sessions to refine acting skills and improve overall performance quality. 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment among the Halloween Nights team, promoting teamwork and camaraderie. 

 

  1. Guest Interaction: 
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions, providing directions, and enhancing the guest experience. 
  • Stay in character at all times while engaging with guests, maintaining a captivating and immersive atmosphere. 
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with tact and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. 

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • High level of personal sensitivity related to others related to diverse teams of various identities including but not limited to: age, race, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, etc. 
  • Uphold the organizations anti-discrimination and anti-harassment (sexual and otherwise) policies 
  • Proven record of reliability 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to thrive in operational and theatrical roles on any given night 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
