Jaffe St. Queer is BACK with their hit show, GAY MIS at FringeArts !
We are seeking 8 actors/singers for an over the top queer/drag musical parody of Les Miserables. Roles are open to people of any race, gender, sexual orientation, size, must be 21 or older. DRAG PERFORMERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO AUDITION.
We are looking for people who know the Les Mis score well.
Rehearsals will begin Mid January. Rehearsal schedule will be based on cast availability.

Character Breakdown:
Parmesan - A fugitive on the run. He ate a loaf of bread, while on the keto diet
Jabear - a daddy bear cop (boo)
Fontina/As Cast - Got fired from her job at the deli, instantly dies of Chlamydia
Mx and Mx TenardiGAY/As Cast - Owners of a very run down Chicos
Epanini/as cast - Hopelessly in love, can’t stop catfishing
Marius/As Cast - A f*ck boi
Narrator- CAST (Eric Jaffe)
*all roles except Parmesan and Jabear will double as ensemble

Auditions will be held on Monday, December 16th-Wednesday, December 18th.
Please note: December 17th-18th have very limited availability.
Location TBD, from 4-7pm. Please prepare a 16 bar cut that shows off your range. Please also be familiar with the melodies of I Dreamed a Dream, Bring Him Home, On My Own, and Stars from Les Mis.
