Facilities Manager

The Media Theatre is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of the theatre. This is a part-time position that has shifting hours depending on the demands of the theatre at the time. 

POSITION: Facilities Manager

Department: Front of House

PAY RATE: $20 an hour/part-time

Job Functions

• Effectively communicate building-related issues with management and coworkers

• Maintain an adequate inventory of tools, supplies, and parts required to maintain the building

• Ensure proper use of chemicals and equipment in facilities maintenance.

• Maintain the building and grounds with custodial support as well as performing repairs and general maintenance.

• Require little supervision and ongoing support after receiving direction; effectively prioritizes completing work timely and meeting deadlines; take ownership of tasks, follow up and sees through to completion

• Candidates should demonstrate a high level of expertise in one or more of these areas, and have broad experience with all aspects of facility management
