Early Childhood Music Teacher

Rhythm Babies is seeking a part-time early childhood music teacher for traveling music classes in the Philadelphia Area. The individual would work with 1-5 year old children. Individuals will initially teach three to four classes per week with the opportunity to expand their schedule if desired. This job is perfect for college students or someone who works nontraditional hours and would like to make extra money. Pays $40 per class. 

Responsibilities:

• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different age groups and learning styles
• Lessons plans will be provided to teachers, and you will need to bring the class to life in an engaging and interactive manner
• Instruments are provided, but teachers are responsible for bringing them to/from classes and will need to clean/sanitize accordingly
• Travel to various locations within Philadelphia

Requirements:

• Loves children (experience with teaching is a plus)
• Is animated, friendly, and confident
• Has a pleasant singing voice (voice/theatre majors preferred) 
• Is responsible and trustworthy 
• Owns a car and willing to travel in Philadelphia
