Dresser for In The Heights

Position Overview:
Bristol Riverside Theatre is seeking an experienced Dresser for our upcoming production of In the Heights. This is a vital role to ensure the wardrobe is managed and maintained throughout the production. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale productions and handling professional theatre wardrobe responsibilities. The Dresser reports to the Head of Wardrobe and Resident Costumer.

Position Dates: March 17th - April 28th

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with dressing actors during performances.
• Ensure the proper maintenance, care, and quick changes of costumes throughout the show’s run.
• Collaborate with the costume designer and team to ensure wardrobe elements are on schedule and in good condition.
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of costumes and wardrobe supplies.
• Manage quick changes and wardrobe needs during technical rehearsals and performances.

• Proven experience in wardrobe management and dressing for large productions.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
