Patrick Lamb (2 days - July 18 & 19) - A local militiaman who is better able to see the nuance of the situation than any other character. The moral backbone of the film. Is called on by Washington for his knowledge of the local terrain.

General Mercer (2 days - July 18 & 19) - General Mercer is a fierce advocate for pressing forward and attacking the British to keep up the morale of the troops while other generals in the group argue for a retreat to keep the troops safe.
