Call for Designers
Steel River Playhouse in Pottstown, PA seeks designers for the remainder of our 24-25 Season. Positions are open in Set Design, Costume Design, Lighting Design, Props Design, Sound Design, Stage Management, and Board Op/Run Crew positions. About Steel River Playhouse
Steel River Playhouse is a non-profit theatre and education organization dedicated to sharing stories that reflect our collective humanity. Steel River is located in Pottstown, PA in a 2.4 million dollar performing arts center with a 200-seat mainstage space and a 100-seat blackbox space. The Playhouse has become an economic driver for downtown Pottstown and, since its founding, Steel River Playhouse has staged over 150 productions, entertained over 200,000 audience members, and educated 20,000 students. Our 2023-2024 season has 7 mainstage shows and additional seasonal educational programming.
As Steel River Playhouse enters it’s 24th season, we are embracing a vision where Everybody Plays a Role. We are opening the doors to new and exciting artists, eliminating obstacles for people to attend though diverse ticketing strategies, expanding our volunteer opportunities, and inviting small businesses, charities, and community organizations into our building and programming.
