I am a choreographer who is collaborating with my church in Southampton, PA to create a contemporary dance concert of just under an hour in length. I am looking for an ensemble of 7-9 dancers ages 16+.
Rehearsals will be on select Sundays from 2:00-5:00pm (see full list of dates below). This timeframe will include a short warm-up class. All dancers may not be called for the full time at each rehearsal, but I am looking for dancers who can commit to as many as possible of the dates listed below.
The performance is scheduled for the evening of June 27, with a dress rehearsal that afternoon. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled the week of June 22-26, TBD.
Location of all rehearsals and the performance is St. John's Anglican Church, 1150 Bristol Rd, Southampton, PA.
This is a faith-based project, but I welcome all to participate. If you are willing to be respectful and portray religious themes onstage, I will seek to create an environment where you can feel comfortable regardless of spiritual background.
