SideQuest Theater is holding auditions for our June 2026 mainstage production, and we'd love to see you there! 

AUDITIONS: 

Saturday, March 21 (10am- 5pm) 

Sunday, March 22 (10am - 12:30pm)


CALLBACKS:
 

Sunday, March 22 (5 - 7pm) 

Present at the auditions will be Kelsey Hébert, members of the SideQuest Leadership Team, and possibly current members of the Bullsh*t Shakespeare ensemble.

ABOUT THE SHOW: Bullsh*t Shakespeare is a concept in which a group of actor/improvisers rehearse a Shakespeare piece and then perform the show each night with the style/genre/twist given by the audience. For it's debut run Bullsh*t Shakespeare will present Romeo & Juliet.

Current Cast: Owen Corey, Heron Kennedy, and Ryan Wilson 


DIRECTOR: Kelsey Hébert (she/her) is a Philadelphia-based theater artist with a BFA in performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a co-founder of SideQuest Theater, and performs with improv ensembles such as ComedySportz, Roll Play, and KDM. Kelsey has worked with multiple theaters in the region including Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia Artists' Collective, and Hedgerow Theatre. 


REHEARSALS: 
Rehearsals will take place Wednesday nights & weekends (April - May) based on cast availability. 

TECH:

Tech week will be June 1 - 4 based on cast availability

Jun 28       (1 - 3:30pm)

           *Unlike other improv shows at SideQuest, the full cast will be called to every show.

How To Apply

TO AUDITION... Sign up for an audition slot HERE & fill out this audition form. You must do both in order to be guaranteed an audition slot. 

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please have a short Shakespearian monologue (15 - 30 lines) prepared. You will be asked to perform this monologue multiple times and in different ways. 

Salary

All performers will be paid a stipend of $350.
