Box Out Bullying is celebrating its 16th season as a leader in using interactive, live theater combined with comedy to deliver impactful, high-production value performances.

This is a 45-minute, two-person, high-energy, live theater show. Actors can expect on average 7 shows a week, with at most 14 shows.

Rehearsals will take place in Lancaster, PA. The tour will travel nationwide, but primarily in the Northeast.

Contract Details:

  • Rehearsals: Lancaster, PA during mid/late August 2025
  • Previews: First week of September 2025
  • Contract Duration: Mid/Late August 2025 (Rehearsal) to Mid-May 2026
  • Touring Details: A company touring vehicle is provided. Accommodations are covered on the road. Troupes have the option to act local in the Philadelphia area or stay in NYC (Queens) with housing provided. No shows on weekends, evenings, or major holidays. One-month winter break from mid-December to mid-January.
  • Responsibilities: Actors are responsible for sound setup, loading/unloading sets, driving, and serving as company representatives. Full training is provided.

WHO WE’RE SEEKING:

  • Male Talent, Age 21-30
    • Seeking incredibly funny actors with excellent comedic timing who can make kids laugh with goofy, slapstick humor while also delivering witty moments that appeal to teachers (think Pixar-style comedy).
    • Actors must have the ability to engage and captivate audiences, keeping them entertained from start to finish.
    • Exceptional in movement-based humor, using physical comedy to bring characters and situations to life.
    • Experience in working with K-8 grade audiences and being able to adjust tone/style for different age groups.
    • This is a two-person show, so actors must be versatile in playing off of a straight-man/funny-man duo dynamic, switching between characters and voices with comedic flair.

Salary
