Indecorous Theatre Productions is casting their 2026 Season! We are looking for Non-union BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ actors for the following shows:
Richard III by William Shakespeare
Roles Open to be Cast: (In all cases, your gender does not necessarily need to match the gender of the character; however you do need to be comfortable, capable, and confident portraying that gender to be considered)
QUEEN ELIZABETH- The queen of England, (Woman, late 20s-30s)
BUCKINGHAM- a lord and Richard’s co-conspirator (All genders and ages welcome)
HASTINGS- a lord loyal to King Edward (Man, all ages welcome)
MARGARET- The previous queen of England, banished after the war (Woman, 30s+)
RICHMOND- Surviving heir to the Lancaster family (Man, passing for late teens/early 20s)
CLARENCE- King Edward’s brother, next in line for the throne (Man, all ages welcome)
YOUNG ELIZABETH- Queen Elizabeth’s daughter (Woman, passing for late teens/early 20s)
ANNE- Widow of the Lancaster prince (Woman, late 20s+)
DUCHESS OF YORK- Richard’s mother (Woman, passing Late 30s+)
(Most actors will be playing other minor roles in addition to each major one)
NOTE: the role of RICHARD III has already been cast
Rehearsals: will be 3 evenings a week (exact days TBD) from March 2nd-April 12th (Tech week April 12-16th)
Performances: will be April 18, 19, 23, 24, and 25th at 7pm.

As You Like It: An Immersive Experience
This will be an outdoor immersive production of Shakespeare’s romantic comedy As You Like It at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education in Roxborough, where actors will lead the audience through the woods from scene to scene of the play.
Keep in mind this will be a somewhat physically demanding production as actors will be on their feet in the actual woods. Improv and audience interaction experience are a plus but not required.
