Audition Dates: Friday, May 30 & Sunday, June 1st @ 7:00 PM • Callbacks (if needed): Saturday, June 7th @ 1:00 PM
Rehearsals will begin in mid-June • Performance Dates: September 12 – 21st •
Rehearsals: Wednesdays @ 7:00 PM, Sundays @ 2:30 PM & 6:30 PM With some rehearsals on Fridays @ 7:00 (as needed)
Tech Week: September 7th – 10th – NO CONFLICTS
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Based on the 1988 film of the same name, this hysterical battle of cons will “constantly have you in stitches! A smash-hit musical comedy comprised of hilarity and wacky hijinks!
IMPORTANT AUDITION INFORMATION:
Please prepare 16 - 32 bars of an up-tempo Broadway standard song that highlights your range and shows your acting ability. (songs from the show encouraged) There will be no accompanist, so please bring a thumb drive with your musical track. (We will have songs from the show on hand)

CHARACTERS: (Ages are stage ages)
Lawrence Jameson – an experienced British con artist who is sophisticated, suave and elegant. British and German accents. Gender: Male Age: 40-60
Freddy Benson – a young, clever, aspiring American con artist. He is a sloppy, yet attractive womanizer. Looking for a comedic actor with lots of energy! Gender: Male Age: 25-35
Christine Colgate – a seemingly good-natured American heiress vacationing on the French Riviera. Naïve and clueless at first, she becomes cunning and mischievous. Gender: Female Age: 35-45
André Thibault – Lawrence’s French assistant. Official and mostly serious, he has a lighthearted nature and quirky sense of humor. Must have a French accent. Gender: Male Age: 45-55
Muriel Eubanks – a wealthy and attractive American socialite from Nebraska, she is one of Lawrence’s victims and André’s subsequent love interest Gender: Female Age :35 to 55
Jolene – an American heiress from Oklahoma and the “Princess of Petroleum”. She is very eager, optimistic, and energetic. Also, in the ensemble. Gender: Female Age: 25-35
