ACTORS for Immersive Event at the Philadelhia Museum of Art

ReNew Productions is seeking 7 versatile and imaginative performers for ‘The Art of Deception’ a fully immersive, murder mystery experience rooted in Philadelphia’s dark history of the infamous 1930s Philadelphia Poison Ring. Actors will engage directly with guests as they experience scenes, collect clues, and come across challenges they will have to figure out in order to find the last piece of the puzzle. Although scripted moments exist, strong improvisational skills, ability to connect with guests, and a willingness to play within the world are essential. Fans of murder mysteries, escape rooms, and true crime are highly encouraged to audition. ALL roles open, ANY Gender, ANY Ethnicity.

Rehearsal Schedule:

• April 9 (Zoom): Script & discovery moments (7:00pm - 9:00pm)
• April 15 (Zoom OR in person): Finalize Script / Character Hits (6:00pm - 9:00pm)
• April 16 (Philadelphia Museum of Art): Blocking (1:00pm - 4:00pm)
• April 22 (Philadelphia Museum of Art): Blocking (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
• April 23 (Philadelphia Museum of Art): Full runs (OFF BOOK) (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)
• April 29 (Philadelphia Museum of Art): Preview (4:00pm - 7:00pm Preview @ 5:30pm)
• April 30 (Philadelphia Museum of Art): EVENT DAY (4:00pm - 10:00pm)
