26-27 Season Equity Principal & Non Union Open Calls

The Walnut is holding separate AEA and Non-Union open calls in Philadelphia seeking local performers for the 26-27 Season. AEA Equity Principal Audition
Monday March 16, 2026

10AM-6PM (lunch from 1-2)
*Building will not open prior to 9:30AM

Non Union Open Call

10AM-5:30PM (lunch from 1-2)

PREPARATION:

• Please prepare a 3-minute audition presentation - using your choice of a short monologue, 2 contrasting musical selections, OR a combination of monologue and musical cut.
• An accompanist will be provided.
• Please also bring a picture and resume, stapled together. 

Walk-ins will be seen on both days only if time permits, and the theatre will maintain a walk-in list at check-in. On the AEA EPA day, union members take priority.
