Given annually since 1995, the Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals who have made substantial contributions to the life of the Philadelphia theatre community over a significant period of time. Past honorees have included directors, actors, artistic directors, producers, educators, and patrons and supporters of the theatre.

For your nomination, we ask that you submit a written letter together with relevant biographical information of the nominee. It is important that we have this material available for review, no matter how well-known your nominee is. Nominees for this award should be individuals who have made substantial contributions to the life of the Philadelphia theatre community over a significant length of time. Nominees can be from any area of theatre work or philanthropy. Directors, actors, artistic directors, producers, educators, and theatre patrons have been all been honored in past years. We encourage you to take part in this nomination process so that the award will be based on the widest possible participation of the Philadelphia theatre community.
