The Pennsylvania Players, the only professionally-directed student theatre company at the University of Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced professional with a clear vision to direct its spring play production. Flat fee: $3,000.
Currently, we are anticipating that the production will go up in late March at the Harold Prince Theatre in the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Rehearsals are held Sunday through Thursday nights, from 6:30-10:30, starting late January.
To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, 3 references, and detailed proposals for Machinal by Sophie Treadwell and one other well-known show of your choice. This second proposal does not have to be in the same style or genre. Please note that we do not decide which show we will be producing until after we have hired a director.
