NETworks Presentations is looking for a collaborative and efficient Senior Director of Booking & Engagements (Senior Director).  The Senior Director oversees the Booking and Sales team and is responsible for the booking & routing process for all National Tours produced by NETworks Presentations and Partners. The Senior Director must have a strong grasp of the touring Broadway environment and comprehensive knowledge of the engagement settlement and contracting process. The Senior Director is remote-based and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.


 Duties of the Senior Director include but are not limited to the following:

·        Oversee the overall booking process for the company in conjunction with the show’s Executive Producer, General Manager, and the various outside Booking Agents:

·        Support Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Officers in preparing reports, data analysis for proposals and market analysis, and changes to tour’s projected income.

·        Oversee Income projections in collaboration with the Executive Producer & General Manager of the Production to prepare budgets, proposals, etc.

·        Set deal terms and expectations for booking and routing of each title in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer.

·        Manage unexpected engagement issues (performance cancellations, etc.) with Executive Producer and Local Presenters.

·        Work closely with the Director of Sales on sales projections to consistently deliver accurate income projections to the Executive Team.

·        Manage all outside Booking Agency relationships, including all regular booking needs, finding and negotiate tech space/deals, and coordinating regular booking calls.

·        Attend all Marketing calls with outside agencies and advises accordingly.

·        Approve & sign all engagement contracts.


In addition, Senior Director will lead the Booking and Sales department in the following functions:

·        The engagement contracting process at large (Negotiating, Tracking & Distributing contracts in conjunction with Booking Agency)

·        In collaboration with the Production Department, create and distribute tech riders, and manage mileage and venue approvals.

·        Update internal accounting systems for routing information, deal terms and final engagement sales.

·        Maintain NETworks Booking Database.

·        Advise & train Company Managers on the weekly settlement process and issues.

·        Assist Accounting with Accounts Receivable and Re-settlement issues with Local Presenters, documentation for tax waivers, and vendor registration.

·        Coordinates with Show Team the logistics of accessible performances as requested by local Presenters and all Certificate of Insurance requests.


Education and Experience:

·        10+ years working in Touring Broadway

·        Strong negotiating skills

·        High level understanding of touring Broadway logistics and economics

·        Must have a strong grasp of the contracting and settling process for one-night to multi-week engagements for union and non-union engagements, and an understanding of local production and musician agreements.

·        High level of computer proficiency, with a significant amount of experience using Adobe, and Microsoft Office products, including Excel.

Commensurate with experience, pay range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 with benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and paid time off.
