Title: Scenic Charge for Kinky Boots

Salary: Starting at $23/hour, commensurate with experience

Dates: July 29, 2024 - October 4th, 2024

Reports to: Production Manager

Direct Reports: Overhire when needed

This is a part-time position with a guaranteed 20 hrs/week. We are anticipating closer to 40 hrs/week during build phases and can get more specific about the schedule with interested candidates.

About The Position

Scenic Charge is responsible for realizing Set Designer’s vision for all paint treatments and finishes of scenery and props for the production. Scenic Charge will work with the Technical Director and Production Manager to plan logistics of paint so that scope of work can be completed on time and on budget. This shall include, but is not limited to, determining methods and treatments to achieve design, creating a paint schedule & budget, ordering paint, completing designer notes, creating a touch-up kit, and cleaning/restoring the paint area of the scene dock.
