Puppet Slam Submissions

The Just F*cking Do It Puppet Slam is back for another exciting night of short puppet pieces from local puppeteers! The hour-long show will take place Sun Dec 15th at 7:00pm in South Philadelphia at the Painted Mug Cafe - 1527 Jackson St, Philadelphia, PA 19145. Submissions are now open for original puppet performances and the theme of the evening is "Dynamic Duos"!

• Acts should be between 3-10 minutes long.
• At least part of the performance must include a puppet or object manipulation of some kind.
• All types of puppetry are welcome, and you don't need to build your own puppet to participate, though we love to see new creations!
• Content-wise, this is an evening show aimed at an adult audience. If selected, we'll ask you for a list of content warnings to provide audiences before the show.
• The theme is DYNAMIC DUOS - think peanut butter and jelly, super heroes and super villains, opposites attract, two sides of the same coin, immovable objects and unstoppable forces. Feel free to use the theme as a jumping off point, but including the theme is not a requirement - ideally it's inspiring instead of limiting.
• Submissions will be open until Nov 16th - acts that are selected will be paid a $25 materials reimbursement for participating
