Cannonball Festival is an independently produced performing arts hub of the Philadelphia Fringe, that presents risk-taking independent artists in back-to-back performances next to delicious lounge spaces, fostering creative collisions and community conversation.
The Production Manager will work with Cannonball Producers to successfully plan and execute load-in and load-out of all Cannonball Venues — both before and after the festival, and sometimes in the middle of it! This is a hands on, creative position which also will probably involve quite a bit of carrying some heavy things up and down stairs, potentially driving a uhaul, specing and purchasing/renting equipment and sorting cables. The ideal candidate will have some experience with electrics, and have an amazing capacity for physical and digital organization. Experience as a production manager is preferred, but all applications will be considered!
Applicants do not need to be residents of Philadelphia, but must be available for in-person work in August and September. Community housing is available if needed during the festival in September.
