What happens when we fail our children?
What happens when we allow the hatred of the past to infect our future?
And then what happens when we are forced to risk everything for love?
Co-Directors JL Hitchens and Ryan Walter are seeking to cast a diverse ensemble of nine actors for Shakespeare’s JULIET AND ROMEO. The character breakdown is:

TYBALT / PARIS / FRIAR JOHN
MERCUTIO / THE APOTHECARY
MONTAGUE / PETER
All roles are open. We are especially seeking BIPOC performers to be part of this ensemble. Actors of all gender identities are encouraged to audition for any character they want to be considered for. All character pronouns will be decided by the actor who is cast in the role(s) and the script will be adjusted accordingly.
Auditions will be held on the evenings of Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10. Callbacks will be on Sunday, December 15 by invitation only.
Rehearsals will begin on January 5, 2025 and will be mostly two evenings per week until tech. The performance dates are: March 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, April 4, 5, 6, 2025.

You may be asked to read a side, all of which will be provided in advance, after your initial audition.
