Director Ryan Walter is seeking submissions from Non-Equity actors for William Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, which will be performed at Allens Lane Art Center, a long-standing community theater in Northwest Philadelphia.
This production will have performances on May 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, June 2, 3, 4, 2023.
Auditions will be Sunday, March 26 (6:30pm-9:30pm), and Tuesday, March 28 (7pm-10pm). Rehearsals will begin in early April.
We are seeking a diverse ensemble of ten actors to play the following roles:

Auditions for this play are open to everyone, regardless of experience, ethnicity, or gender identity. We are especially interested in BIPOC actors to audition for this production.

For your audition, please prepare a Shakespeare monologue of your choice. If you are interested in the role of FESTE, please also prepare a song of your choosing to sing either a cappella or accompanying yourself on a musical instrument you play.
After applying to audition, you will also receive sides from the play that you may be asked to read from after presenting your monologue.
