Position Purpose: UMLY Performing Arts Company is seeking a vocal coach to join our team and take the lead on teaching vocals for our musical theater productions.

Responsibilities:

• Teach vocals to students ages 8-18 for all musical theater productions, including the upcoming production of Frozen Jr.
• Provide insight and expertise regarding vocal abilities of candidates during auditions.
• Oversee vocal instruction for a cast of approximately 80 student actors.
• Serve as conductor during performances on December 5th, 6th, and 7th.
• Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
• Maintains a clean and risk-free environment.
• Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vocal direction/vocal coaching
• Demonstrate advance knowledge of vocal direction/vocal coaching
• Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
• Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and tra
