The Philadelphia Regional Arts Consortium, a Pennsylvania non-profit 501c3 seeks a full-time, 100% remote, Executive Director t to join our Consortium staff,  supporting a growing network of 19 member organizations on the East Coast from Maine to Florida.

Reports to the Board of Directors and Advisory Council.   

 

INTRODUCTION

The Philadelphia Regional Arts Consortium (PRAC) serves a membership of nonprofit professional theaters and cultural organizations by licensing, operating, and developing the Tessitura Software suite.  Founded in 2006 with nine Philadelphia-based members, the Consortium now serves nineteen organizations from across the East Coast.

 

DESCRIPTION

The Executive Director (ED) is the chief executive officer of PRAC and primary relationship manager for the organization, serving as chief spokesperson and member advocate.  The ED oversees all operations as well as plans and executes strategic initiatives that advance the Consortium’s mission. The Executive Director oversees two full-time and four part-time staff members and collaborates with the Board of Directors.  The ED also steers four committees including Advisory, Operations, Finance, and Strategic Planning.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in executive leadership or other senior management roles;
  • Strong understanding of non-profit finance;
  • Ability to develop effective strategies and plans;
  • Proven success in development including institutional fundraising and grant writing;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong understanding of Tessitura products and services; and
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.

 

DUTIES

  • Manage all Consortium personnel;
  • Maintain and develop Business to Business relationships and partnerships;
  • Direct membership recruitment, acquisition, renewal, and member satisfaction efforts;
  • Complete all financial duties, including developing budgets, managing payroll, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and collaborating with accounting firm to produce annual audit and necessary tax forms;
  • Lead monthly Board meetings
  • Lead quarterly Advisory Council meetings;
  • Steer monthly committee meetings across Operations, Finance and Strategic Planning;
  • Advance fundraising efforts and grant writing;
  • Oversee human resources, benefits management;
  • Lead and execute strategic planning; and
  • Assist in consortium support as needed.
