The Pennsylvania Players, the only professionally-directed student theatre company at the University of Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced professional to direct its fall musical production. We are looking for directors with a clear vision. To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, 3 references, and detailed proposals for Hair and one other well-known show of your choice. Please note that we do not decide which show we will be producing until after we have hired a director.
Currently, we are anticipating that the production will go up in early December at the Harold Prince Theatre in the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Rehearsals are held Sunday through Thursday nights, from 6:30-10:30, starting mid/late September. Flat fee: $3000.
