"Be Our Guest"....to audition in our virtual open dance call. Seeking local Philadelphia-based Ensemble dancers (Equity and Nonunion) for Walnut Street Theatre's holiday production of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Glenn Casale is set to direct, and Kim Arnett is set as choreographer. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin October 31 with performances running through December 31. Virtual call is open to any local dancer singers, and callbacks will happen in person mid-June by invitation.
ENSEMBLE - All ages, gender-identities, ethnicities, body types, and voice parts to make up a dancing chorus of townspeople and enchanted ensemble. Must have strong voices and dance well for featured parts in the ensemble, such as "Silly Girls", Monsieur D’Arque, Dancing Wolves, and Dancing Cutlery. **Audition for the kid role of CHIP will take place at a separate call later in the summer.
